Accounts & sign-in
Create an Assetera account and sign in securely: with email + password, one-time passcode / 2FA, passkeys, and social sign-in where available.
Everything on Assetera starts with an account. You sign in through a single, hosted login surface, the same redirect-based model you know from "Sign in with…" buttons. Your credentials are only ever entered on the dedicated Assetera login pages, never inside a form embedded in the app. For a financial platform that's a deliberate security feature: no phishable pop-up asking for your password.
Ways to sign in
Email + password
The classic credential, entered only on the Assetera login pages.
One-time passcode / 2FA
A 6-digit code from an authenticator app, added on top of your password.
Passkeys
Sign in with your device biometrics or security key (no password to phish).
Social / single sign-on
Use a supported identity provider where available.
Creating an account
- From the Assetera app, choose to register, and you're taken to the hosted login pages.
- Enter your email and a password, and complete email verification.
- You're redirected back into the app, now signed in.
Your profile is provisioned on your first sign-in: your account record is created the moment you first arrive authenticated, not at registration. You simply land in the app ready to continue onboarding. The richer details needed for identity verification are collected after this first login, as part of KYC.
Signing in
Signing in uses the same hosted pages. Because it's a single shared login, one session carries you across Assetera's apps without re-entering credentials.
Two-factor authentication (2FA)
Protect your account with a one-time passcode (OTP) from an authenticator app. When enabled, you're prompted for the current 6-digit code after your password. We strongly recommend turning this on (or using a passkey) as the single biggest step you can take to protect a financial account.
Password resets, changing your password, and managing 2FA or passkeys all happen on the hosted login pages, not inside the app itself.
Your account console
You can manage your sign-in details (password, 2FA devices, active sessions) from your account console. This is the self-service page for the credentials side of your account.
Account status
Separately from being signed in, your account carries a status that reflects where you are in onboarding and compliance. At a high level:
- New: you've registered but not yet completed onboarding.
- Under review: your details are being checked (for example during or after verification).
- Blocked: access is restricted, typically for a compliance reason.
This status is about your account standing, and is tracked independently of your identity verification (KYC) status; the two are separate concepts. See Identity verification for how KYC is tracked and why trading depends on it. The exact points at which your status changes are still being finalized as onboarding is built out.
